I really like these juggling balls; they feel good and sand doesn't stick to them. But I'm pretty annoyed with the ball to ball variability. Two are much more bean-bag-squishy like and the third is more tightly packed.
I can't figure out an easy way to measure the difference but if I squeeze either of the good two between my thumb and forefinger my fingers get to within a half inch of each other, but on the stiff ball my fingers only squish in to an inch from each other. I hoped that it was just something to do with their breaking in, but it doesn't seem to be changing. I just weighed 'em and the two good ones weigh 64g and the tight one weighs 66g. I'm not worried that they're don't measure exactly 70g, maybe my scale is off. But I think the extra 2 grams of fill is what's changed the feel, and I've lost hope it'll "break in".
The larger size makes catching them easier while joggling. The mesh net exterior is noticeably more comfortable than the pseudo-leather on the Duncans as well. When my hands get sweaty from running the balls don't get slippery and gross. I've joggled over 10 miles in less than a week since receiving these Speevers and let me tell you, if you're currently using any kind of hard, shiny or non-breathing material, such as leather or fake leather, or even fabric, these Speevers are going to be a huge upgrade.
They feel so much better in my hands, especially after I start sweating. One last thing - I was suffering from forearm pain when I used the Duncans, but these 20g lighter Speevers have left my arms in perfect condition, no pain at all. Color: Black - White Size: 4. I had a set of the multi colored leather like balls and their covers started coming apart in messy paint chips albeit after a couple of decades use.
So this set was to replace them as I read that juggling will aid me in staying stable on my feet to prevent stumbling and falling down. It's one of the ultimate "drills" to aid your hand-eye coordination. Do NOT look at your hands!
As Wayne Gretski famously said, "skate to where the puck's gonna be" you need to put your hands where the ball is gonna drop. I LOVE this product! I started playing around with juggling a few months ago as part of a brain development experiment. I juggle in 5 minute increments. At first, I used balled up socks and then golf balls. On a lark, I bought the Speevers Xballs. The tactile sensation they provide make it a pleasure to juggle. Also, they are beautifully designed. One could leave these out as a conversation starter.
I will be buying more of them as unique giveaways. Color: Orange - Yellow Size: 3.

Emailed Speevers and they kindly offered to send me a new set. I emailed them back my address and hope to have the replacement set soon! I changed my rating to 5 stars! After only 1 month of intermittent use, the seam of the outer covering material is coming apart!! I like the size and heft of the balls, but not the fact that one is "coming apart at the seams," so to speak We bought the lighter version of these for general juggling practice and love them.
I wanted something a little heavier to see if I could use my hobby as a little workout and found that yep they work your arms out which is great If you lose control of the balls on occasion, the heavier ones help you juggle beautifully. The heavier ones are a lot of fun to juggle and learn new tricks with, keeps you from losing control as much as you do with the lighter versions. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Report abuse. Great quality! So I ordered the g balls. I'm used to juggling for my kids with their toy balls These heavy balls, I have to stand in front of the couch and face it or they really thump the floor or smash something if I miss a catch.
Or sit on the floor to limit their fall.

Great workout, too. I can't wait to get comfortable with these! They are perfectly uniform with each other, makes juggling a bit easier. The webbing material is a breathable mesh with a cloth-feel, not rubbery or rough.

They also don't bounce, as they seem pretty good at absorbing impacts so its easier to catch and toss, but still quite firm. Hard to imagine people "swuggle" or swim-juggle with these ones! The abyss would swallow them too fast to try a recovery catch, these are pretty high density. Excellent weight, that's the best feature of these. If you like to juggle you should at least have these somewhere in your inventory. One person found this helpful. Could do without the mesh outer fabric.
I'm not much of a juggler, I've dabbled who hasn't? I was interested in these for a few reasons though I had to know, why are they so expensive? I liked the idea that when stored in their little bag that they could be used as some light free weights for general fitness and finally On the last point I have to say that there has been no instant magic transformation, I still drop the balls more often than not. Why are they so expensive? Well I'm not sure about that either, they're definitely well made both the case and the balls themselves.
Stitching is all clean and strong and I don't have any doubt they'll last pretty much forever. It seems they get more expensive by weight and you can get the same balls at much more reasonable costs in the lighter sizes so I'm not going to give them a bad review just based on expense.

The study shows weight loss depends on cutting calories rather than on any specific diet, said Frank Sacks , HSPH professor of cardiovascular disease prevention and senior author of the study. A total of obese and overweight people who were willing to lose weight took part in the trial, known as Pounds Lost. They were assigned to one of four different diets with various shares of fat, protein and carbohydrate, but all of them were supposed to shave calories per day off their usual menus.
Two years later, participants lost an average of 4 kg or 8. Weight loss remained similar among those on a high versus average protein diet 3. The levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and insulin, which are major drivers of diabetes and heart disease, went down in all groups. This two-year study was designed to overcome limitations of previous trials. A common one is that no matter how spectacular the weight loss is for a specific diet in a trial, participants tend to gain weight back after six months.
Yet many studies fail to follow participants long enough.
